The production
We do sports too — and we do them right.
The gateway reads the gym’s own scoreboard and lays a professional score bug over the live stream — clock, score, fouls, bonus, live as it happens. And a provisioned staff member’s phone becomes the broadcast booth, adding announcer audio on top of the stream from anywhere in the building.
It works with what’s already in the building: the Hudl camera on the gym wall keeps doing its job, and your existing sports schedule provider syncs straight in — games land on the broadcast schedule automatically.
Who built this
Built by a school district. Not a software company.
Every School TV was built inside a school: Alex Ritter, Technology Director at Elkhorn Valley Schools, a public K-12 district in Tilden, Nebraska, built it for his own district — with the help of a student, Landon Rutjens — when nothing existed for broadcasting everything a school does. He builds and runs it from inside that district today. When you get in touch, you’re talking to him.
